Sewing Lessons - Group & Private Lessons
Sewing lessons will be available in the Greater Portland area to share with you sewing techniques and give you the experience necessary to create some fun new projects! Classes will be structured in various formats, some project based and others offering traditional lesson plans to build a solid understanding of basic sewing techniques. Student machines are available, but I encourage students to work on their own machines if possible. Private lessons will also be available.
How soon will lessons be available? I am currently in the planning stages and working on developing a class outline and finding some projects that might interest a wide range of folks with varied skill levels. I plan to offer sewing lessons for younger students and teens to give them a fun & rewarding introduction to sewing. My goal is to pass along my love of sewing to the next generation.
Pricing: Classes will be priced based on whether it is a project based class or traditional sewing lessons, and group or individual lessons. Do you have a neighborhood group of friends wanting lessons? I will gladly come to you and teach in the comfort of your own home. (Certain restrictions do apply to this offer.)
About Instructor: My personal sewing experience of 35+ years ranges from creating garments for adults and children to curtains & home accents and just about everything in between. I have taught sewing & quilting lessons to both children and adults.
